METTLER TAKES TWO TOP 5 RESULTS AFTER STARTING PROBLEMS

Swiss racing ace Yannick Mettler was left frustrated after the latest round of the German Formula Three Championship at the Lausitzring. The 22 year-old from Kriens missed out on more possible podium results after being unable to get his car off the line.

The weekend seemed to start well for the Swiss with two top 3 results during the free-practice sessions on Thursday. However, Yannick and the Performance Racing Team found that it was a difficult task to get the most out of the new tyres and struggled to find a promising set-up for qualifying.

METTLER BACK ON PODIUM IN AUSTRIA

It was another successful weekend for Swiss racing driver Yannick Mettler as he took another podium result in the latest rounds of the German Formula Three Championship at the Red Bull Ring in Austria.

The 22 year-old from Kriens went into the meeting full of confidence after he just missed out on podium results at the previous round. The Performance Racing driver was looking for a return to the winners circle and came close to it after what he described as a 'tough' qualifying session.

STRONG PACE NOT ENOUGH FOR METTLER AT ASSEN

Swiss racing driver Yannick Mettler was once again left frustrated as he was put out of contention for three possible podium results in the latest rounds of the German Formula Three Championship at Assen in Holland this weekend.

The 22 year-old struggled from the moment he hit the track on Friday with his car bottoming out on some parts of the circuit. Although the set-up on the car hadn't changed from previous rounds, it was a difficult start to the weekend and it left Yannick and the Performance Racing team looking for a solution right before qualifying.

METTLER MISSES OUT ON PODIUM AT SLIPPERY SPA FRANCORCHAMPS

 

 

Swiss racing driver Yannick Mettler was left frustrated to miss out on a podium result in the latest rounds of the German Formula Three Championship at Spa Francorchamps at the weekend.

The 22 year-old from Kriens struggled from the outset when his qualifying strategy put him on the wrong tyres as rain began to fall. He came back into the pits to change tyres, but had unfortunately missed the window for the fastest times, eventually having to settle for seventh for the first race and ninth for race three later in the weekend.

METTLER TAKES SECOND IN TREACHEROUS CONDITIONS AT OSCHERSLEBEN

Swiss racing driver Yannick Mettler narrowly missed out on his second race win of the season as he overcame tricky wet conditions in the latest round of the German Formula Three Championship at Oschersleben.

The 22 year-old from Kriens went into the weekend looking to pick up as many points as possible after a frustrating meeting at the previous round. In free-practice Yannick and the Performance Racing team struggled to find a good balance and as he went into qualifying the team made a big change to the car to try and make it better.
